Location & arrival
ODA Suites sits in the heart of Lucerne's old town, across two buildings: Weinmarkt 8 and Metzgerrainle 1. The station, the sights, restaurants and shops are all an easy walk away.
By email after booking. It is also stored in your digital key.
Not on site — there is no parking in Lucerne's old town. There are paid car parks nearby, all a 5–10 minute walk away:

Five categories between 23 and 127 m². The smaller ones are more compact, with less storage and fewer amenities.

The Lifestyle and Deluxe Suite sleep two, the Signature, Superior and Maisonette Suite up to four.
The Signature, Superior and Maisonette Suite: up to four guests and separate sleeping areas.
Yes. Every suite has a fully equipped kitchen with a Nespresso machine. All of them have a dishwasher except the Maisonette Suite.
The Signature Suite has a balcony overlooking the Weinmarkt, the Maisonette Suite a freestanding bathtub.
No. Our suites are in listed historic buildings in Lucerne's old town, so air conditioning cannot be retrofitted. Every suite has fans instead.
Yes, the suites are easy to reach by lift. The historic buildings are not step-free, though — see “Are the suites wheelchair accessible?”.
Yes. The larger suites in particular, at 93 to 127 m², offer plenty of room, a fully equipped kitchen and a clean every seven nights. When booking, pick the category that fits the length of your stay and what you need.
Check-in & check-out
No. ODA Suites runs on a modern self check-in concept. Everything you need, including the digital key, is provided online before you arrive. If anything comes up, our team is reachable any time through the guest app.
Your booking confirmation contains the link to the guest app — no download needed. You fill in the check-in form there before you arrive.

Yes. The digital key is only created once every guest has checked in — no check-in, no access.
Yes. After 11 am your digital key still opens the shared doors, and you can leave your luggage in the luggage room in the basement at Weinmarkt 8. Access is through the Anotr Café during its opening hours (8 am to 8 pm).
Digital key
Your phone becomes the key. You create it in the guest app after checking in, and it opens the main entrance and your suite. It works over Bluetooth — please switch it on.
Yes, you can send it straight from the guest app.
No download. The guest app runs in your browser; you get the link with your booking confirmation.
During your stay
No. Cleaning and a change of linen and towels happen after check-out. On longer stays we clean every seven nights, with fresh linen and towels.
- 6 nights: no clean during the stay.
- 8 nights: once on day 7.
No, an extra clean is not offered and cannot be added.
Yes, fast guest Wi-Fi is available free of charge in every suite. You will find the credentials in the guest information.
Yes, there is a laundry room with an iron and ironing board in the basement at Weinmarkt 8, accessible with your digital key. Out of consideration for other guests, please do not use it after 10 pm.
Yes, there is a luggage room in the basement at Weinmarkt 8. Access is through the Anotr Café during its opening hours (8 am to 8 pm). The room is shared by all guests and storage is at your own risk.

The Anotr Café is right next to ODA Suites at Weinmarkt 8 and doubles as our personal point of contact for guests. As a guest you also get a free coffee every day of your stay.

The guest card opens up the Lucerne region at preferential rates:
- Discounts on trips to the local mountains — Pilatus, Rigi and Stanserhorn — and on boat trips on Lake Lucerne.
- Reduced entry to museums and attractions, among them the Swiss Museum of Transport, the Glacier Garden and the Rosengart Collection.
- Savings on guided city tours and on transport offers in Lucerne.

Yes — restaurants, museums, walks by the lake and trips into the mountains, curated by us.
House rules
Unfortunately not. Our suites are in listed historic buildings that cannot be altered, and the lift cars are usually too small for a wheelchair. If you travel with limited mobility, please contact us before booking — we will give you an honest answer.
Quiet hours run from 10 pm to 7 am. Out of consideration for other guests, please avoid using the lift and the laundry room after 10 pm.
No, pets are not allowed.
Smoking is not permitted in the suites or anywhere indoors, only in the designated outdoor areas. Additional cleaning costs may be charged if this is ignored.
Visitors are welcome as long as other guests and neighbours are not disturbed. Only people included in the booking, or approved in writing beforehand, may stay overnight. Parties and events are not permitted.
Cameras are installed only in shared areas, in particular the entrance and the stairwell. There is no video surveillance inside the suites or in any private area.
